Yesterday we had a wonderful trip to Warner Bros Studios to look behind the scenes at the world of Harry Potter! ⚡️

The children got to explore many of the sets, props, special effects and costumes used in the movies. Today, the children have been drawing their own mythical creatures and making potions based on what they saw on the tour!

It’s our Christmas party day today! 🎄🎉

The children had a wonderful visit from Santa this morning who very kindly gave all the children a special present! We have also filled our day with lots of Christmas crafts, party food and party games including pass the parcel and apple bobbing. What a brilliant day it has been! 🤩

Wow, what a wonderful performance the children put on last night for this year’s nativity: The Light of the World! 🤩

Thank you so much to everyone that came to support and join in with us singing some festive carols, we truly hope you enjoyed the evening.

A big well done to the children for their brilliant acting and singing, remembering all of those lines and roles reflects all of their hard work over the past few weeks!

Of course we have to say thank you to all of the staff who helped to put all of this together. A special shout out to the angel and the star for their participation in the performance too.✨

Please join us at St John’s Church, Winster, for this year’s Nativity Play, ‘The Light of the World’ on Monday 15th December.
Come along to celebrate the wonderful hard work of the pupils and Christmas!

Refreshments will be provided, including some delicious mince pies and mulled wine! It is not to be missed.

On Monday, Key Stage 2 went on a trip to York to visit the Jorvik Viking Centre to support our history topic this term: Vikings!

The children really enjoyed the ride inside Jorvik that took them back in time to experience the life of the Vikings. They then had a lovely time having lunch outside York Minster and an I Spy activity taking them through the streets of York before heading back home.

Children In Need 2025 🤩

This week the children have been participating in the 25 Step Challenge set by the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing! They have been learning 5 new dance moves each day to put all together into a full dance routine that they completed today.
