🏏 CHAMPIONS! 🏏

A huge well done to our Year 3/4 boys' cricket team, who represented our school today at Marton Cricket Club and were crowned event winners!

The boys were unbeaten throughout the day, winning all 4 of their matches and demonstrating fantastic skill, determination and teamwork from start to finish.

We are incredibly proud of the way the boys conducted themselves both on and off the field. Well done to everyone involved on a fantastic day! 👏👏🏏🏆

A severe allergic reaction can develop quickly, so knowing what to do in an emergency is essential.

This week’s guide gives parents, carers and educators a clear overview of adrenaline devices, including EpiPen, Jext and nasal adrenaline.

The guide covers:
• Symptoms affecting the airway, breathing and circulation
• How different adrenaline devices are used
• Why the patient should lie down and remain still
• The importance of calling 999
• Why two devices should always be carried

It also reinforces a vital message: using adrenaline promptly is always better than waiting.

Parent Online Safety Workshop
8:00–9:30 PM
Support your child’s safety in the online world – from the comfort of your own home

Here is the link you need to join the session - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81973711289

We are inviting parents and carers to a live online session, hosted by The 2 Johns, that you can join easily from home using a phone, tablet or computer.

Why join?

Children are spending more time online than ever, especially on games like Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite. While these platforms can be fun and creative, they also carry risks that are not always obvious to adults.

This session will help you understand:

• How children really use games and social media
• Risks such as grooming, bullying and unwanted contact
• The influence of online trends, influencers and algorithms
• How children can be exposed to harmful content or ideas without parents realising

What you’ll gain:

• A clearer understanding of your child’s online world
• Simple, practical steps to improve safety settings
• Confidence to talk to your child about what they do online
• Up-to-date advice on current risks and apps

Why it matters:

Children often move faster than adults in the digital world. This session is designed to help you keep up, stay informed, and feel more confident supporting them.

Join us from home and feel more confident supporting your child in their digital world.
