We are so excited to be welcoming all of our wonderful children back to preschool on Wednesday 2nd September! 🥰
We are especially excited to meet all of our new families and begin this exciting new chapter together. 💛 We can’t wait for lots of fun, laughter, learning and making special memories along the way!

On 1st September, a very special resident at Blakelands Lodge will be celebrating her 100th birthday, and we'd love your help to make it a day to remember.

What a truly wonderful day we've had at preschool! 💙
This morning, we celebrated with a Bluey-themed party, and what a fantastic time the children had! There was lots of dancing, singing, laughter, and games, making special memories together.
This afternoon, we held our graduation ceremony for our amazing school leavers. It has been such a privilege to watch each and every one of you grow, learn, and flourish. You are more than ready for your next adventure, but you will all be deeply missed by everyone at preschool. We are so incredibly proud of you all and can't wait to see all the wonderful things you achieve. 🌟🎓
To all our families, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtful gifts and beautiful cards. Your kindness means so much to every member of our team. Most importantly, thank you for trusting us with your precious children and allowing us to be part of their early years journey. It has been an honour and a joy.
We would like to wish all of our preschool families—past, present, and future—a wonderful, happy, and relaxing summer break. Please remember that our door is always open, and we are always here to support you whenever you need us.

⚽🏴 Come on England! 🏴⚽
Our little football stars have been getting match-day ready today! 🌟
The children practised their penalty kicks, worked on their fantastic ball skills, and chatted all about tonight's big England match. We even made a colourful "Come on England!" banner and had lots of fun predicting the final score! 🥅🎨
There were some brilliant goals, plenty of cheering, and lots of excitement throughout the day. We're all set to support England tonight...

Our Preschool Leavers had a wonderful time celebrating together with a special trip to Marston Beans! 💛
The children enjoyed a delicious slice of cake and a drink while spending quality time with their key workers. It was such a lovely social occasion, filled with smiles, laughter, and special memories.
After our treat, we headed to the play area for some fun before taking a peaceful walk back through the forest. 🌳
A perfect way to celebrate this important milestone and the wonderful friendships and bonds the children have built with their key workers. We are so proud of each and every one of our school leavers and can't wait to see all the amazing things they will do on their next adventure! 🎓✨ Marston Beans

✨🦸‍♂️👸 Superhero & Princess Day! 👸🦸‍♀️✨
What a magical day we've had celebrating our Superhero and Princess Day! 💖
Our little superheroes and princesses have been busy taking on exciting obstacle courses, practising their balancing and jumping skills, and showing off their amazing aim by throwing beanbags into bowls. We were so impressed with everyone's fantastic balancing as they carefully walked across the room with beanbags on their heads, practising their elegant princess walks! 👑
The children enjoyed getting creative by making beautiful princess crowns and brave superhero masks before heading outside to the garden, where they became superhero rescuers on exciting adventures! 💥🦸
Using our building blocks and magnetic cubes, we designed magnificent castles and mysterious dungeons, inspiring lots of imaginative storytelling. We also loved sharing stories together about our favourite superheroes and princesses, sparking plenty of smiles, laughter, and creativity.
It has been a day full of imagination, teamwork, creativity, and fun. Well done to all of our wonderful superheroes and princesses for making today so special! ❤️✨

☀️What a fantastic week we've had at preschool! 🌞
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents for your kind donations of ice lollies and ice this week. Your thoughtfulness has helped us keep everyone cool and smiling during the warm weather! 🍦💙
We are so proud of how amazingly all of the children have coped with the heat. We've made the most of the cooler mornings by enjoying plenty of outdoor play before the UV levels became too high.
This week has been filled with lots of fun, including:
💦 Water play to help us cool down
🎨 Creative painting activities
🦕 Dinosaur adventures
🍳 Imaginative role play
🥣 Mud kitchen cooking, where we've been creating all sorts of wonderful "recipes"!
We've also made sure everyone stayed well hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day and enjoyed quieter indoor activities during the hottest parts of the afternoon.

🎨 Ice Painting Fun! 🎨❄️
Today our little artists had a wonderful time exploring ice painting!
It was fascinating to see the ice slowly melt, changing shape and colour as they worked. This simple sensory activity encouraged creativity, curiosity, and lots of conversation about colours, temperature, and what happens when ice melts.
There were plenty of smiles, colourful masterpieces, and magical moments of discovery along the way! 🌈💙❤️💛
