Marsh Gibbon Pre-School opened in 1976. It operates from four rooms within a community hall in the village of Marsh Gibbon, taking children from 2 years old - 4 years 11 months. Marsh Gibbon Pre-School is currently being managed by a BA Honours Graduate. The pre-school is also managed by a committee of parents and serves the local area and surrounding villages.
Marsh Gibbon Pre-School stands fo
r high quality early education. We have a good, wholehearted, committed team that are all fully qualified and hold many years’ experience between them. We want the very best for your children, right from their very first learning experiences. We provide experience that will support your child to develop in all areas from communication and language to mathematics and emotional development. Our Pre- School achieves all objectives by offering space for moving around, plenty of opportunity for play, a variety of resources for all children to be creative, an adaptable home area for children to re-enact real life experiences out, a fully equipped mark making area to develop those crucial fine motor skills for writing later on and we also offer a free flow system into our Garden. On top of that we have a sing and sign music lesson every other week and a P.E Session run by 'Action Kids' each week to promote healthy living and exercise. We also have a Pre-School allotment at the back of our garden to enable the children to grow all year round. We also make full use of the adjacent park and all weather pitch. We offer a lending Library service to the older children of the Pre-School where they can take books home to share and read with their families. We recognise that sharing stories is vital to children’s development of communication and literacy. Each child is treated individually at Marsh Gibbon Pre-School and we aim to meet every child's individual needs and stages of development through exploring their interests and abilities.
