Burford School are delighted to announce that, following the recent changes in Government funded childcare, we are now able to accept children into our Nursery from the term following their third birthday.

Last month our headteacher, Tracey Marshall received a letter from four boys in Year 5 asking if they could be involved in raising money for Cancer Research. Their letter was very mature, heartfelt and aligned beautifully with our Burford values. So tomorrow the boys are going to organise a mile run for each year group during lunchtime. Friends of Burford raise much needed funds for school, they are a friendly bunch and parents who join in with them always seem to have a great time.

Please come along to the Friends of Burford AGM this Wednesday 6 July at Tin Town Coffee. Doors open 19:45 meeting starts at 20:00. Please come and have a drink, share your ideas and support your kids' PTA. We need to raise lots of money to replace the school's broken playground equipment with some amazing new stuff for your children to enjoy. We promise not to lumber you with lots of work - all major roles filled already but always on the look out for new ideas. Looking forward to seeing lots of you there
