We are looking for an Educational Psychologist to join our growing Independent Educational Psychology Service, and Community Initiatives Team, as an Associate Educational Psychologist.
We are based in Marlborough, Wiltshire but serve surrounding areas (Wiltshire, Hampshire, Swindon, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire) and would aim to allocate work, up to an hour from your own base, in the south and southwest and beyond these particular areas if this suited your location.
It is an exciting time for us as, as a team, we are aiming to provide increasingly diverse services to respond helpfully and positively to the significant and diverse challenges faced by our schools and our families, with meeting the needs of our SEN children and young people.
Working as a team is important, making it enjoyable, and avoiding the potential for feeling isolated that can come with independent working. We will have team days, CPD opportunities, and we work to ensure we are informed and up to date with new thinking, research and SEN law.
There is full administration support. The cases are brought to you, with admin gaining background information from school, parents and other involved professionals when relevant, preparing the report templates prior to your direct involvement, through to sending reports/consultation records and invoicing, so cutting out the more mundane office work.
We are offering 1-2 days per week of work.
If you are interested, please get in touch and we can arrange a zoom call to discuss further,
You might like to refer to our evolving website www.edpsych.co.uk
I look forward to hearing from you

Important read: Chasing the scream by J Hari
We really need to reflect on our culture and the values that are defaulting to our children - this book is good for this. Comments welcome

Hi all - the walking charity trek in the Sahara is complete! It was amazing, a challenge and I am exhausted but elated. at least 104 km - The conditions made it tough but the scenery was incredible from moonscape to sand, unchanged for millennia, except for the dune shapes which get tuned by the wind. We were lucky with the weather, Thank you everyone for your support, together the team has raised over 40K for the Charlie Waller Trust - I will leave the just giving page open for a few more days (Caroline Strover - Sahara), THANK YOU # #

I am out of the office and not back to my desk until the 7th November, trekking 100k in the Sahara, testing my own limits on a fundraising venture for the Charlie Waller Trust, an amazing charity involved in directly supporting and informing young people about mental health challenges, providing evidence based training and resources.
If you would like to make a donation, this would be hugely appreciated - the page is still open and the link is pasted below:
Look forward to catching up with you all, on my return,
