Hi, I’m a qualified teacher and have been helping children in local primary schools with their learning and confidence-building for well over 2 decades. I’ve been enjoying after-school tutoring in the last few years and have helped many children fill in the gaps in their English and Maths due to the disruption of Covid Lockdowns. With a mixture of games, direct teaching and practice activities (with homework available if required) my 45 minute lessons in person help children enjoy greater confidence in school and a more robust sense of self esteem.
I have a room fully equipped with teaching materials and equipment and am insured with a current DBS check. My rates for tuition are very competitive and I can provide references on request. I offer lessons for children aged 7-13 and work hard to tailor lessons to improve areas of the Curriculum where children lack confidence and competence.
