Last week I had two great sessions with trainee Emotional Logic coaches.
1️⃣One trainee coach had their orientation session where we get to know one another and learn about the content and structure of the course. It was great to see him with such enthusiasm after finishing the Foundation award. "I don't understand why EL isn't on the curriculum for all schools."
2️⃣Another trainee coach, who is a bit further into the course, experienced a Personal Learning Appointment (PLA) where we experience the 3 main resources EL offers. It was the 'loss list' that got to 'the heart' of the difficulties experienced when a much loved and respected senior colleague leaves. It is from this list, then we can begin to make SMART plans to bargain back the losses felt - these losses are our values.

It might be the school holidays, but Flourish Education is still busy!

I was delighted to be asked back to my former school (as a pupil and a teacher) to help judge their yearly poetry competition.

Each class had entered a student into the grand final where they recited a given poem and one of their own choice. Some of my favourites included an emotional self-penned poem about Year 6 leaving primary and one about the 'tales' told to a visiting teacher..."But our teacher let's us!"

Standing up and reciting in front of over 300 pupils and adults is no easy task, but these 7 to 11 year-olds overcame any nerves and performed with clear voices, a good pace and even some actions.

Well done to all involved at Market Drayton Junior School.

Flourish Education was delighted to volunteer its support for Young Enterprise at Grove School, Market Drayton recently.

Lisa supported a mix of Year 9 and 10 pupils in their Learn to Earn programme sponsored by the Leek Building Society.

👁️🌍I loved the feedback: "It was an eye opener for the big world!"

❤️ I also enjoyed seeing some former pupils and was privileged to have feedback such as: "It was great to see Mrs Savill again."
