Bridge Education (AP) Ltd is a registered alternative provision providing up to 15 hours education and therapeutic sessions per week per student for many different reasons. This could be a school refuser, a mental health issue, exclusion from mainstream, those students waiting for a school place or in care of the local authority, just to mention a few reasons.
As we are registered with County as an alternative provision, we are fully insured, all staff are enhanced DBS checked, completed safeguarding and Prevent training and have many policies and procedures in place.
We are also going through the process of applying to become a registered exam centre for AQA and Pearson Edexcel, ready for the exams of 2025.
We have many students daily across our centres locally, we have to ensure there is appropriate academic and therapeutic work available for them to use to achieve their qualifications and goals in life. With that in mind, we have bought into online learning programs for our students to access both within our centres and at home. These contain KS1-KS4 English, maths, Science, Geography and KS5 Science. There are GCSE level and access to English, maths and digital skills functional skills, Entry 1 to level 2, available online. We also complete AQA unit awards.
We have opened up to home educated students recently who would be interested in pursuing the more academic route whilst being home educated, if you would like to buy into the package. To start, we have only a few spaces available, as each block of students I register increases the price of the package I have, and I do not want to over subscribe and have empty places being paid for!
