We only went and did it!!!!
GCSE English Language and Literature with a result at the magic Grade 4! Don't get me wrong it wasn't easy but 18 months of hard work has paid off today. I am one Super Proud Tutor!!!!!!

It's Summer Holiday Vibes!

Wishing my Year 11 Students the Very Best!
As another GCSE journey comes to an end, I'd like to say a huge congratulations and goodbye to my amazing Year 11 students.
It has been a privilege to watch your confidence, resilience, and skills grow. The hard work, determination, and commitment you've shown makes me so proud.
I will miss our chats and you educating me in all things Animé & the best donut flavours!!!

She takes her role as Chief Welcoming Officer very seriously!
Dogs are the ultimate non judgmental listeners. They don't care about spelling or reading speed, they just love you exactly as you are!
That's not to say she is always there; she comes and goes, sitting and listening right when you need her most. But she is always happy to meet and greet you, making you feel instantly welcome. ❤️

For many of my students, traditional reading can feel like a barrier but we look at things as a big-picture! Traditional worksheets can be overwhelming.
Check out how we tackled Romeo & Juliet this week. Instead of getting lost in the lines, we broke the drama down into a visual map & character web. We made connections to track who’s a friend and who’s a foe.
Character clusters to simplify complex motivations.
I don't teach literature, I teach how to process it in a way that makes sense to my students. This style of Kinesthetic learning, moving the pieces helps the story stick.
