Last week, three of our Year 6 children and Miss Ballance joined 34 children from across all 15 Focus Trust schools for a week at Wick Court - Farms for City Children
Wick Court is part of Farms for City Children, a charity established by Sir Michael Morpurgo and Lady Clare Morpurgo. The charity gives children the opportunity to experience what it is like to live and work on a farm for a week.
The children embraced every challenge and opportunity. Each morning began at 7:30am, feeding and caring for the animals before sitting down to enjoy their own breakfast. Throughout the week, they developed new skills, built friendships, worked as a team and gained a real understanding of life on a working farm.
It was an incredible experience that created memories to last a lifetime and one that the children will never forget.
A huge well done to all three children for representing Manor Green so brilliantly. We are very proud of you! 🌟
