Last week was Y8 Futures week but unfortunately the art students had to wait until today to take part in a ‘pottery throw down’. Great fun! Thanks to Natasha Jackson Ceramics

We have now appointed our transition buddies for 2026. They are all set to welcome our new arrivals to the school!

Y8 Futures week. Our English department organised a talk from Jack Nolan, a local author and motivational speaker, who talked about his journey and his writing.

Today is a busy day for careers experiences. It kicked off with a very interesting and informative talk from PC Collins about careers in the Police

This week is Y8 Futures Week where our students have interactions with people from many different careers. Today those interested in languages had a talk by Sonja from Manchester University on how languages can be used in different careers

Today some Y12 students visited Corpus Christi College in Oxford for a graduation after completing their Oxford Book Club

Last week a group of Y10 students were invited to spend a couple of days at Oxford University. They visited a number of the colleges that make up the University, had a lecture/workshops at the Bio-Chemistry and Environmental Sciences Department, visited some art exhibitions in the Ashmolean Museum as well as seeing some of the sights and many beautiful libraries of the university.
