⏰Holy Cross re-opens TOMORROW (Monday 13th April) for the Summer Term. ⏰

Mr Wardle, the Governors and all the staff at Holy Cross would like to wish our wonderful children and their families a very Happy Easter.

What an absolutely amazing end the Spring Term!
This afternoon we have been treated to an Easter Bonnet Parade by Reception.
The children also entertained us by singing 3 Easter songs too. Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to come and support the children. It was lovely to see you all.

🌟🌟 Congratulations to this half term's Attendance Prize Winners 🌟🌟

This morning, our children in Years 2 to 6 went to Oldham Parish Church for an Easter Service.
The service was led by our Leadership/Ethos group and Rev. Daniel.

Matthew 28:6: "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come, see the place where he lay".

🐣🐥 We have started selling Easter raffle tickets.🐥🐣

They're £1 a strip and we have LOTS of Easter prize bundles and Easter eggs to give away 🥚
Tickets are available from your child's class teacher.

The winning tickets will be chosen (randomly) during our Attendance assembly on Thursday 2nd April.

Last Thursday, our school choir was invited to Oldham Parish Church to sing as part of the Archbishop of York's visit to Manchester.

A HUGE thank you to Tony and the team at Ryder & Dutton for the donation of 30 puddle suits to school.
These puddle suits will enable our children to access our Forest School regardless of the weather! 🌧️🌦️☔️❄️☃️

Yesterday, Archbishop Stephen visited the diocese and listened to our children's choir sing in Oldham Parish Church.

The children sang beautifully and they also had the opportunity to listen to the Sing my Soul Choral Scholars sing too.

Archbishop Stephen, Bishop David, Bishop Mark, and those gathered learned more about how this choral music project, in collaboration with St Martin-in-the-Fields, is supporting the ministry of parishes across our diocese.
