Exam periods can place significant pressure on young people, affecting their confidence, focus and overall wellbeing.

Our latest guide explores realistic and supportive strategies to help manage this pressure.

It highlights practical approaches, including:
• Organising workload and reducing overwhelm
• Using active and creative revision techniques
• Creating calm, focused study environments
• Using technology, including AI, in a thoughtful way

The guide also emphasises the importance of maintaining balance, motivation and positive wellbeing during exam preparation.

What a special day! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our KS1 parent open session took place today, there's something truly magical about seeing families walk through the classroom together. Whether it's watching little eyes light up as they show their latest creation 🎨, or seeing the proud moment when a child points to their work on the wall — these moments remind us why we do what we do. Thank you for taking the time to join us and celebrate your child's learning journey! 💛

A message from Tameside Music Services:

We’re excited to offer Sing a Musical in a Day, a fun, high‑energy holiday club for children aged 7–16 taking place on Wednesday 27th May at Hyde Town Hall between 10am and 4:30pm. Led by professional opera singer Michael Jones and experienced music leaders, young people will learn songs from a well‑loved musical, build confidence through group singing, and enjoy a creative day of music and movement, no previous experience needed.

The day includes vocal warm‑ups, rehearsals, and a relaxed mini‑performance (up to 30 minutes) for family at the end of the day. Participants should bring a packed lunch and a drink.

The musical is a surprise, but here’s a clue:
“Think of a girl who’s clever, loves to read,
And with a bit of magic, she takes the lead!”

It's a fantastic opportunity to sing, make new friends, and try something new during the school holidays!
