Jon’s manager agreed and needless to say… Bill came back to win 5-4, thus pocketing £4K total 🇨🇦😆🎉🥂

"Bill Werbeniuk died on 20 January 2003 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 56, from heart failure linked to long-term alcohol abuse and obesity. His death, occurring just six days after his 56th birthday, was attributed to the cumulative effects of his well-documented heavy drinking and weighing approximately 20 stone (280 pounds), which strained his cardiovascular system.

Following his passing, obituaries highlighted Werbeniuk's outsized personality and enduring appeal in the snooker community. The Guardian described him as a "cult hero" for his larger-than-life antics, including consuming up to eight pints of lager before matches and one per frame during play, which endeared him to fans despite limited major titles. Similarly, The Telegraph praised his commanding presence on the professional circuit in the late 1970s and early 1980s, noting tributes from peers like Cliff Thorburn, who called him a "true heavyweight" of the sport. BBC coverage emphasized his charisma, with Thorburn leading remembrances that underscored Werbeniuk's role as one of snooker's most beloved characters."

Yesterday I welcomed a new client, Max, to my snooker coaching sessions at Club 200 🎱

Max is keen to improve all areas of his game, having felt that inconsistency has been holding him back.

After completing his SightRight Global Cue Sports Network sighting line assessment, we focused on developing a solid and repeatable pre-shot routine. 😇

Following his first two-hour session, Max is already feeling more confident in his ball striking and now has some clear areas to work on before our next session. 👌🏼
