Hifz Graduation at Muhammadia Institute - 14/03/2026

Alhamdulillah, on the 25th night of Ramadhan we were also blessed to hold a beautiful Hifz Graduation ceremony at Muhammadia Institute.

Two students successfully completed the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an:

1) Hafiz Khurram Sarwar son of Ch Nadeem Sarwar
2) Hafiz Adyan Alam son of Intikhab Alam

This is a tremendous achievement and a moment of pride for their families and our entire community.

We make sincere dua that Allah blesses these young Huffaz, grants them steadfastness upon the Qur’an, and makes the Qur’an a light in their lives and a means of elevation for their parents.

Special appreciation to their respected teacher Hafiz Qari Naseer Ahmed for his dedication and efforts.

May Allah continue to raise many more Huffaz from Muhammadia Institute. Ameen.

Eid Card Family Project - Muhammadia Institute

Alhamdulillah, our Eid Card Family Project - which aimed to promote love, peace, and stronger family ties was a great success. The best cards were selected during our assembly yesterday.

All winners were rewarded with £10 Eid spending money as a small token of appreciation. The effort shown by our students was truly wonderful, and many of the cards were so creative and thoughtful that it made choosing the winners very difficult.

We hope this activity encourages our children to value and strengthen their relationships with their extended families. A special well done to all the parents who took the time to support and help their children design these beautiful Eid cards.

Muhammadia Institute will now break up for Eid. The Institute will reopen as usual on Wednesday 25th March 2026, InshaAllah.

Khatam ul Qur’an Night – 25th Ramadhan

Alhamdulillah, we were honoured to host our Khatam ul Qur’an night at the masjid, marking the completion of the recitation of the Noble Qur’an in Tarawih prayers.

This year was especially a milestone as Imam Hafiz Jameel completed his 20th consecutive year of reciting the entire Qur’an in Tarawih. May Allah accept his efforts and grant him the strength to continue serving the Qur’an for many more years.

We were also blessed with the presence of esteemed scholars who shared valuable advice and reminded us about the virtues and blessings of Ramadhan, Laylatul Qadr, and the Qur’an.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the brothers and sisters who attended throughout the blessed month and listened attentively to the recitation of the Qur’an.

May Allah accept from us all and allow us to continue gathering around His Book. Amin.

Alhamdulillah , we have completed 25 juz in taraweeh prayers tonight!

Final 5 juz left to complete the entire Quran!

Let's make an effort and attend every taraweeh till the end of the Quran.

Khatam ul Quran will take place on Saturday, 14th March 2026, InshaAllah.

Community Announcement from Jamia Muhammadia

It is with great sadness that we inform the community that our dear brother, Raja Sharaz Hussain (aged 43), son of late Haji Raja Gul Nawaz, Brother of Gulfraz Hussain, Sirfraz Hussain & Rab Nawaz Hussain, Nephew of Late Raja Mohammed Arif & Raja Talib Hussain, has returned to his Lord. We ask Allah ﷻ to forgive him, have mercy upon him, and grant him the highest ranks in Jannatul-Firdaus.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Passing away in the blessed month of Ramadhan is a moment of hope and honour for a believer. We pray that Allah makes this a means of mercy, forgiveness, and elevation for our brother.

We kindly request our community to attend his Janazah Salah which will take place today 4pm at Madni Jamia Masjid, and participate in making dua for him.

Let us come together as a community to honour him, stand with his family, and ask Allah to envelop him in His mercy.

Post-Taraweeh Youth Club – Free Entry

Alhamdulillah, it is truly heart-warming to see our youth attending Taraweeh Salah in Ramadhan.

To encourage and reward our youth for their attendance, we are pleased to announce that the Youth Club will be open every Friday & Saturday after Taraweeh for one hour ONLY.

This is a supervised, safe and positive space for our youngsters to relax, socialise and enjoy themselves after fulfilling their Taraweeh.

Our aim is to build a strong connection between the youth and the masjid, making Ramadhan a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience.

We look forward to seeing our young brothers in the masjid and benefiting from this initiative, InshaAllah.

Qur’an & Qa’idah Achievements at Muhammadia Institute

Alhamdulillah, we are delighted to share some beautiful achievements, prior to the month of Quran, from our students.

A number of our students have successfully completed the recitation of the entire Qur’an and were awarded certificates in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and consistency. This is a huge milestone and a moment of pride for their families and our institute.

We also congratulate those students who have completed their Qa’idah and will now be beginning their Qur’an journey. This is the first major step towards becoming from the people of the Qur’an, and we make dua that Allah ﷻ makes their path easy and filled with barakah.

May Allah ﷻ keep all our students firmly connected to the Qur’an, grant them success in Dunya and Akhirah, and reward our teachers and parents for their efforts. Ameen.
