To put your trust in someone or something is difficult at times, equally difficult for others to put their trust in you.
I’ve had some really good conversations this week with fellow professionals which have been open and honest.
That’s the first step in my opinion in having a trustworthy professional relationship.
With everything I do there has to be an element of trust, I trust what I am doing is for the right reasons for me, my family and also the people I work with.
I am fortunate that currently I have opportunities with good people who are are transparent with what they need from me and what I can provide through my work and my own capacities.
It’s also important to be clear that I will give my all to support, develop and contribute collaboratively with positive outcomes.
I really enjoy and trust the people I work with and for at present and that for me is where good things start.
My continued development of Thrive Through Thought is to support the right trustworthiness people and I am happy that this is moving in the right direction with a a wonderful primary school, a leading alternative education provider, developing SEND training for the leading education provider and also individuals and community groups who need support with SEND.
I’m a SENDCO and have worked tirelessly to get there and love that this brings support and help to as many as I can.

Thrive through thought, thinking differently about SEND

Over the last few months I’ve reflected on what makes me passionate about education and community work.

I’ve been lucky and am still fortunate to work with some amazing people, schools and organisations and throughout that time many leaders, directors, teams and individuals have asked for my support and expertise (I’m not an expert but have expertise) on matters relating to SEND, Inclusion, Alternative Education, EHE, EHCP and sensory / environmental support in and out of the classroom, office workspace.

So inbetween my work as a SENDCO and in music today I’m launching this consultancy offer.

It’s just me, it’s about changing and thinking differently about SEND / Inclusion and linking all this to good practice and support in education, workplaces, community and individuals.

I am still teaching / SENDCO and am working and developing courses with a leading educational provider for leaders and teams (which is very exciting)
