Wishing all the members of Kenyukai and their friends and families a fantastic Christmas and New Year.

As we near 2026 we should reflect on your successes in all aspects of your lives and the lows that we all have had and stepped through them.

We all have made mistakes and with the support of true friendship we will lean on each other. We will be tested over and over throughout our lives in all aspects and am sure we will accept we all have flaws that we dont know how to deal with, thats what's friends are for.

I have made mistakes or errors in my life, I understand that and I don't blame anyone else, thats called responsibility.....I am still here because of all of you and your wisdom.

Learn to put out your hand and move on. Make Bridges.
Together we are strong.

What a superb day for Ken Yu Kai today, Muraya Cup Competition for some of our squad members who did themselves and us proud - not always the outcome we want, however, we came back, train hard and go again 👏🏼 well done to Cameron on your silver medal - Kumite 🥈

Squad - a very full squad today at our St Margaret’s dojo we were filled to the brim. Everyone worked hard and gave their all, that is what we ask for -
Roll on the comp next week. Well done everyone 👏🏼

Then onto the Instructor Course lead by Sensei Denise - this was her chance to show you her love for the grappling side of martial arts showcasing a standing gillotine, as well as then giving our instructors something to take away in relation to executing turning in kata and then a lovely cool down.

Great day for the association, well done to all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a fab day at the EKF Kyu Grade and Veterans Karate Comp today for some of our squad. A first major comp for a lot of you but this didnt hold you back or deter you, you represented Ken Yu Kai with grace and determination a massive well done to you all, back to work this week ready for the next comp👏🏼👏🏼
