From car park to community hotspot 🍕

We’re excited to share that independent street food specialists, GRUB, are headed to Stretford Town Centre this summer and will be taking over the space for an 18 month residency and opening Tuesday to Sunday.

Subject to planning approval, we’re working together to transform 6,000 sq ft of the multi-storey car park into a vibrant new hub for the whole town. Think independent street food, kitchen takeovers, and a packed events calendar, from beer festivals to World Cup screenings on Sir Tony Lloyd Square.

By day, you’ll find a bakery, coffee shop, and pop-up bottle store. By night, the space transforms into a venue featuring live entertainment and delicious street food.

We’re bringing this space back to life to unlock its full potential, ensuring it remains a staple for the local community for years to come.

Foundation wins at the RIBA North West Awards! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that Foundation has taken home a Royal Institute of British Architects North West Award for 2026.

Working hand-in-hand with Trafford Council and BDP, we’ve turned the old Rackham’s unit into a thriving destination in the heart of Altrincham. It’s now a vibrant mix of workspace and leisure where people come together to work, shop and catch up over a coffee.

Seeing this space come back to life and power new opportunities for the local community is what we're all about.
