Today our learners tested their bravery and balance with a trip to Block Haus.
Great day guys, it was fantastic to see you all challenging yourself, encouraging each other and having a good laugh.
You all really deserve this down time as you have worked hard this academic year π

ππOur baby goats are 2 today! ππ
Want to make an escape out of a seemingly "escape proof" enclosure...see Twinkle and Belle.
Want to nibble at a newly painted bench without being spotted...see Twinkle and Belle.
Want to have an extra breakfast by looking cute...see Twinkle and Belle.
No wonder we call them "double trouble" π€£ oh and they will always be called "baby" π
Happy birthday to Twinkle and Belle!
π΄ Teddy went to have some down time today in fabulous pasture with new friends.π΄
It's really important at his young age of just 3 to have a break from his education. This gives him time to just "be a horse" before his education continues under saddle.
We are excited to see how this super star progresses. An in-hand Champion already, he could be taking a ridden Championship, watch this space π
Our Alpaca and sheep have had their annual shear today.
Shearing alpacas and sheep is an essential annual welfare requirement.
They have been bred to produce continuous fiber that does not shed naturally, a yearly shearing prevents severe heat stress, painful skin infections, and mobility issues caused by matted, overgrown coat.
They all look very groovy with their Summer "does" π€£
It was a hot one today but our Pre16 Duke of Edinburgh did not let that phase them πͺ
They enjoyed a lovely circular route around Tittesworth Reservoir, with spectacular views of The Roaches.
Well done today, you smashed it ππ
Sleepy ponies this morning π΄π
I had to give them a little nudge to bring them in to the stables for a proper snooze.

π΄ Our little frosty face nicknamed "2 mile an hour Annie" celebrates her birthday 22nd today π΄
But, don't be fooled by the old lady act, she can definitely run rings around her mini herd....and staff π€£
However, with our learners she is an absolute delight, teaching them patience and sending out calming vibes that mean so much.
Happy Birthday Harley!! You are so special to us all π

A year since you gained your wings Ricky π
The farm is definitely not the same without you. π₯Ή
Not a day goes by without us thinking of you, although now we can share laughter at your crazy antics of taking yourself for a walk π
We miss you every day Ricky π
We know you will be looking down on us π
Great day on the farm, work is well underway for the new Bell Tent πͺ
Working as a team is something we encourage and support and today our learners demonstrated this in abundance πͺ
Hard work pays and a lovely hearty lunch was enjoyed and well deserved! π
Fantastic walk in the beautiful Goyt Valley for the Pre16 Duke of Edinburgh learners. Making their way along Foxlow Edge stopping at St. Joseph's Shrine and Errwood Hall.
Well done, it was lumpy in places but the views were worth it!
