Today at Sacred Heart Church Community Garden we had several volunteers helping to maintain the garden.
A big shout out to Adrian who came on his birthday to help out. 🎂
We really appreciate all our wonderful volunteers. Your hard work, dedication, and care helps our community garden to flourish, and the wildlife to thrive.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR THE PARISH GARDEN
The Parish Garden is being judged by the RHS North West in Bloom on Wednesday 24th June and we need your help to get the garden looking good.
Can you spare a hour or more on Thursday or Saturday between 10am to 12noon.
We only have 4 regular volunteer gardeners who come weekly and need help to clear paths and general gardening.
All support will be greatly appreciated

A Night of Music and Fun

The African Priests and Religious of the Diocese of Salford in conjunction with the F.I.L.M TRIUMPHANTS UK are inviting us to a concert in celebration of African Liturgical and folk music. This is to be held at St. Mary’s catholic Church, Failsworth, M35 0NN on the 31st of July 2026 at 7pm. This promises to be a night of good music (by the invited choir) and laughter (by the priests and religious who also try to sing!). Let us mark this date in our dairies and come to have a fun filled evening.

THE SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Friday 12 June is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. As well as the usual 9.15 a.m. mass at St Francis Church, there will be mass at 7.00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
Please make every effort to attend mass on this date which is so important to our parish.

Fun Day at Sacred Heart Church Hall & Garden today.
Thank you, to everyone who came along to support the Pride in Place Fun day today. A special thank you to all the volunteers who came along and made it a fantastic day.
We got great feedback on what the community wants in the area and everyone had a great free entertained day.
Thank you to Tesco for donating gifts, hot dogs and drink to give away.
This fun day was supported by Pride in Place funding by Manchester City Council
