We at MIGSG are of the opinion that an excellent education, delivered in a safe caring Islamic environment, gives each pupil room to grow and develop as an individual. It is documented that most faith based schools provide a way of life that remains with pupils for life. It also instils a sense of responsibility and moral values which they carry through with them into the wider society. So some of
the current ills in society that we witness, such as drugs, poor parenting, underage drinking and religious fundamentalism, to mention but a few, are threatening the long established values of our communities. Our simple aim is to educate young women so that they can take the higher moral ground, having understood the issues earlier in life and avoid making the wrong choices. Our results show that we have been achieving an outstanding pass rate for grades A*- C since our first GCSE results in 1995. I can assure you this doesn't just happen; the whole programme to educate, nurture and support the pupils comes from a dedicated and highly qualified staff that foster discipline and respect who enable MIHSG pupils to achieve consistently high academic results. Combine all of these qualities with dedication, imagination and drive, then you can see why our pupils achieve such outstanding results. However, when we open our doors to all and share our vision of the future, we all can become that much richer and closer as a community.
