π Staff Social β End of Term π
Yesterday we held a staff social to mark the end of the first term, say goodbye to our PGCE students, and bid farewell to Mr Elby, our Head of Department, who after eight years of dedicated service will be moving on to new adventures.
We wish Mr Elby the very best in his new role and thank him for his valued contribution to the school.
A huge thank you to all our staff for their hard work this term β we wish everyone a restful and well-deserved holiday, and well done on a successful first term! π

ππ International Arabic Language Day ππ
To celebrate International Arabic Language Day, our Arabic Department, led by Mrs Hussain, organised a special cooking club where students prepared Koshari, a traditional Egyptian dish β both delicious and nutritious!
A wonderful way to combine language, culture, and hands-on learning. Thank you to Mrs Hussain and the Arabic team for making the day so memorable. π

π Important Milestone π
An important milestone to celebrate β our very own Ms Kossar has now completed a full year in the role of Acting Headteacher. This role carries immense responsibility, and Ms Kossar has truly risen to the challenge, leading the school with dedication, love, and pride.
A huge well done to Ms Kossar for carrying the school community forward with such commitment. We look forward to her continued leadership in the coming term and beyond. πβ¨

This termβs Headteacherβs Awards were presented by Ms Kossar to recognise outstanding contribution and character within our school community.

Hooriya (Year 8) was awarded for her impeccable manners and exemplary attitude to school life.

Arwa (Year 8) was recognised for her consistent attendance and commitment to extra-curricular clubs throughout the first term.
Ms Kossar also extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to Br Hamza for his amazing work around the school grounds, and to Mr Anwar, our caretaker, for his dedication and commitment to the smooth running of the school. Our school truly would not function as it does without him.
Finally, appreciation was given to our PGCE students, Miss Ali and Miss Haque, who have made a wonderful impact on both staff and students during their time with us.
A huge well done and thank you to everyone recognised β your efforts do not go unnoticed. π

π First Awards Assembly of the Academic Year π
Today we held our first awards assembly of the academic year, celebrating a wide range of achievements across the school. Awards were presented to the form with the highest achievement, students with no warnings and no demerits, and those who achieved 100% attendance.
A wonderful opportunity to recognise commitment, positive behaviour, and dedication to learning. Well done to all our award recipients β we are proud of you! π

π Award Assembly Highlight π
Today during our awards assembly, Mrs Ahmed, who leads the Qurβan Memorisation Club, proudly shared that our students have collectively memorised 1,300 verses of the Qurβan.
Mashallah, what a truly fantastic achievement and a testament to their dedication, consistency, and love for learning. May Allah place barakah in their efforts and reward them abundantly.

π Last Day of Term Highlights π
Today marked the final day of term, and our students enjoyed a fantastic morning of extra-curricular activities! From PokΓ©mon Club, Cake Decorating, Cooking Club and Formula 1 Club, to Turkish Culture Club, Bangladesh Culture Club, Movie Clubs, Origami, Mindful Colouring, Board Games, Paint Club and Kahoot β there truly was something for everyone.
It was an amazing morning filled with laughter, creativity, snacks, and lots of excitement. A wonderful way to end the term and celebrate our vibrant school community! π

π Sunnah Iftar β 2025 π
Today, students attended the final Sunnah iftar of 2025, opening their fast together in great company and a blessed atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Bsrbash for organising the food each time β your efforts are truly appreciated.
The Sunnah iftar will resume next term, taking place every Monday and Thursday, InshaβAllah.
