Esoteric Astrology ~ The Claregate Method

How to Parse an Aspect in the Dream Journal

Examples of how astrological symbols from your horoscope are matched to dream images in a process called parsing.

Here is an example of extracting an aspect from the natal horoscope and parsing it in the dream journal and then applying the words and glyphs to the image fed back from the subconscious.

This is an important tool to use in understanding not only your horoscope and astrology generally but the process of building a dialogue with the higher self through Images and Inscapes.

The aspect in a horoscope is made up of glyphs and numbers and we then can match the words from the imagery in the dream to the glyphs and houses / numbers.

Familiarising yourself with archetypal energy keywords represented by the zodiac signs, their rulers and houses allows you to apply the glyphs to the words.

Dr Baker's dictionary of astrology is the textbook to use and you can also access astral*planets group guides if you are a member or know a member who can share these with you pictorially.

How to Extract an Aspect ~ John Lennon's Solar Chart

At Claregate College in the summer of 1981, Dr Baker was teaching a class about the Claregate method of interpretation and illustrated the natal chart of singer John Lennon who had six months earlier had been killed in New York outside his home.

At the time of studying the horoscope the exact time of birth was not known so a solar chart was erected whch places the sun sign in the first house.

In the four stages below it describes the location of a planet, its domiciled sign and house and the cuspal sign if different to the domiciled planet.

Using archetypal keywords and symbols in the aspect glyphs are appropriated over the words and symbols to help us understand how energies can be juggled and appropriated in the many permutations that an aspect can represent.

This is ultimately an important tool in building the link between higher manas and everyday living and strengthens the bridge between humanity and it's divine essences.

The Claregate method is used in parsing aspects from the horoscope into the dream diary where dream feedback can be analysed and interpreted using this method.

The Sorrow and Shame circulating round Charles's First House

The problem of Andrew, the distance with Harry and his own private battle with Cancer, these are solemn issues which will only evolve rather than dissipate. The notes on my dream can be found on School of Delphinus post from nearly two years ago.

The Abstract art of Astrology

There are many ways that energy manifests archetypally and this depends on the level of consciousness and perception of the one who sees into things - the observer / the participant.

We call these manifestations, permutations of energy and they remain in suspense until shaped by the mind / psyche, who through the laws of attraction, magnetises to the keywords and symbols wanting to express, often synchronising the inner life with the outer life.

The Buddhists teach that we become our thoughts and products of our thinking.

The Natal Horoscope is a psychic map of likelihood of what, where and when, a certain bias of energies are likely to converge and express within and around the individual and their consciousness.

This Protean dynamism is quickly changing and interactive and is like the nucleus of the atom itself, the flame of life.

We are all acquainted with the childhood toy of the kaleidoscope with its ever changing, reflective and interactive symmetry and abstraction with refractive mirrors but the subjective counterpart of this is like the quantum particles of the sub atomic elements which are in a state of suspense until directed by the mind of the host.

This is why rather than guessing at which permutations are going to manifest, through the horoscope (finite mind) we call upon the medium of the higher self which knows before they happen (infinite mind).
This is the reason that astrology is a divine art, rather than a science.

Esoteric Astrology ~ Saturn around the Houses

Saturn corresponds to the metal Lead, and therefore implies weight and heaviness which has a gravity having to be carried by the bearer, and so Saturn demands we bear the load of wherever it is situated in the horoscope.

I have used idioms we use in our language everyday as this would usually be the choice of the unconscious in feeding back to us the meaning of a planet in a certain sign or house.

Saturn in the eighth house for example would be the term heavy metal as the eighth house corresponds to alloys and steel and in this sense is a term for heavy sounding guitar music / steel strings.

Saturn in the third house would indicate heavy breathing as the third house corresponds to the lungs and respiratory functions.

Saturn in the 4th house would be heavy sleeper, as the fourth house corresponds to sleep.

These simple permutations of Saturn in the houses are a beginning in us understanding how types of energy coming together in our language are important in portraying symbols from the inner life which are keys to spiritual interpretation of something higher and more substantial.
