It's almost graduation time ! The class of 2021 finally get to graduate at the Bridgewater Hall from Tuesday 11th January.

We've just dropped our bears off for you to buy if you want a souvenir and we can confirm that the Bridgewater Hall are being very strict regarding entrance and the appropriate Covid measures to gain entry.
Graduation - Class of 2021 You completed your studies between 1 August 2020 and 31 July 2021.

Prayer mats are now available to use in The Union 🌟
Thanks to our incredible Education officer, Hanifa, there are now six prayer mats available to use which can be found on the second floor of The Union in the cupboard next to the advice centre (as brilliantly demonstrated in this pic) 👏
"I came up with the idea because I had nothing to pray on. I recognised that other students and staff might want it too, so I bought the prayer mats for anyone to use. I also bought beginners books on Muslim prayer for anyone who wants to learn or is new to it.”
You don't need to book the mats, just make sure you return them after use so they are available for others to use. Hanifa hopes to increase the number of mats over the year, but if you ever think of any ideas to improve your experience at uni, just drop us a message 💛
