This morning, the Sprouts are rolling their cars through the paint under the cling film to make patterns and swirls in the tray. They then took the cars to the tray to wash them with sponges

We’ve had some Shoots visitors in the Sunflowers today. 🌻
They have enjoyed an outdoor Tiddler beach sea theme to meet our children’s interests in the book, shaving foam painting, counting with loose parts and completing our handwriting assessments with our School Leavers ✍🏻📝

🌈 The Shoots children explored our Pride-themed activity and used spray bottles in the water tray to strengthen fine motor skills and support early writing development. We’ve also been continuing Father’s Day cards!
In the Hive Room, they enjoyed role play, building communication, imagination, and social skills.

The Seedlings and Sprouts children had great fun exploring transport vehicles in the flour! They used different vehicles to make tracks and patterns and enjoyed the sensory experience of scooping, pouring and driving through flour. 🚗🚘🚙

What a morning for our Sunflowers! 🌻
Mud painting, paint spraying, recipe creating, obstacle course navigating and we found a moth!!
The moth was very curious and landed on one of our Preschoolers!! 🎨📚

Group time with Sprouts and our younger Shoots 🌱🪴🫗
The children sang their hello song, naming their friends and signing ‘how are you?’
Liv then excitedly sang ‘what’s in the bag’ to the children’s delight and showed the children the items - they shouted ‘jug!’ ‘Pom Poms!’
The children took it in turns to pour the Pom poms into the jar, which is perfect for practicing pouring their own drink in the Shoots Room.
They all praised each other and were so patient at waiting 👏

The Shoots 🪴 have been so busy!
Printing for Father’s Day cards, making their own pictures and giving meaning for their marks, scooping and pouring in the murky cornflour water, reading and sharing books with their friends. We have some wonderful independent Shoots who will hang up their aprons after activities and tidy up!! Superstars!! ⭐️
