🌟 Fantastic News at School! 🌟

What a wonderful way to start the week! 🎉

This Monday, we arrived at school to discover that we have been awarded the Kids Matter Impact School Award in recognition of our commitment to inclusion and the support we provide for children and families. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which reflects the hard work, dedication, and care shown by our staff, families, and wider school community every day. Together, we strive to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

Thank you to everyone who plays a part in making our school such a welcoming and nurturing place. This award belongs to all of us! 🌈✨

Nursery have been exploring Autumn. They have been on some autumn walks to observe the leaves changing colour and to find autumnal objects.

They found lots of spiky conker shells and shiny conkers along with lots of leaves in all different colours.

Like this post if you love Autumn too!! 👍

🌲💚 And just like that, our PGL adventure has come to an end!

After a much better night’s sleep (we think we finally managed to tire them out! 😂), Year 6 enjoyed their final activities before heading home, including the trapeze, frisbee golf and archery. 🏹🥏

It’s been an amazing few days. The children have challenged themselves, tried new things, built stronger bonds with each other and made so many memories that we’re sure will last a lifetime.

Lots of tired faces heading home, but plenty of stories to tell! ❤️

🌲🧗 It’s been a busy few days for our intrepid Year 6 explorers!

They’ve packed in an incredible amount already, with buggy building, raft building, the vertical challenge, sailing, archery, archery tag and even the trapeze! 🏹⛵

We’ve got one more night to go, followed by another morning of exciting activities tomorrow before we begin the journey home. Safe to say, we’re going to have some very tired children (and adults!) by the end of it! 😂😴

Plenty more memories still to be made! 💚

Thinking of applying for a Reception place for your child next year?

We would love to welcome you to Blackley Academy. To arrange a tour of the school and see our wonderful learning environment in action, please contact the Headteacher, Sharon Croke, at [email protected].

We currently have a limited number of places available in our Nursery. If your child is already three years old, or will turn three before January, we encourage you to book a tour as soon as possible. Our Nursery places are filling up quickly, and we would hate for you to miss out.

We look forward to meeting you and showing you what makes our academy such a special place to learn and grow.
