🏆 From kitchen shifts to a career in event management

At our Pitman Training Taunton centre,
Isobel Fitzgerald-Pollard didn’t change direction, she stepped up.

Already working in hospitality, she chose to build on that experience and completed her Events Management Diploma with distinction.

That’s where things shifted.

With the right structure, confidence, and practical skills, Isobel moved beyond day-to-day tasks into real responsibility.

Today, she’s part of the team at Junction 24 & Hawke Barn, helping deliver weddings and large-scale events, from planning through to ex*****on.

Out of 8,000+ graduates, Isobel was named Student of the Year 2025 🎉

Her employer calls her a “crucial member of the team” with a “can-do attitude”, someone who gets things done when it matters most.
