All 17 Northern Education Trust secondary academies took part in this year’s competition, researching and debating issues relevant to their local communities. Denton Community Academy delivered an outstanding performance, excelling in Round 2 of the semi-final and securing one of just four places in the grand final.
The final saw a thrilling and closely contested debate between Denton Community Academy and Thorp Academy, with both academies presenting and defending their arguments with clarity and conviction. In the end, Denton Community Academy claimed a decisive victory, winning the support of all five judges and nine fellow academies.
👏 Congratulations to all the students involved, and well done to every academy that participated in this fantastic event!
