Guys! It’s been a long time. I hilariously thought I could do live sessions with Soren, the worlds loudest baby…but well, I can’t. HOWEVER, I am happy to say myself and Ards (my fake baby) are back! Soren has taught us a lot and I’m excited to share.

The wonderful people from Buzz Health and Wellbeing service - Start Well Develop Well team have commissioned me to deliver another 12 online music sessions starting this Monday:

Babes (0-18 months) 3:30pm

Early years (18months +) 4pm

Hi Everyone 👋

You may have noticed I have been a bit MIA recently, the reason being my little baby boy Soren, born on the 18th May. I took three months to enjoy and give myself, my husband and Soren time to figure out our life as three. It’s been a whirlwind of highs, lows, joy and poo!

I’m excited to share with and show you some of the music and games I’ve been enjoying with Soren, so watch this space for live sessions with a real life baby!

In today’s session we will be having a good ol’ sing along, going through all the songs we have learnt with all our props to aid us. You guys will just need your voices!

It’s World Book Day. Aren’t books great? Big up the person who invented the book.

We use books as inspiration for many of our Pop up Percussion sessions.

One of my favourite authors is Haruki Murakami, look out for a session soon on slightly sad Japanese men feeling a bit lost in the world...(joke)

What’s your favourite book and what book would like me to use as inspiration for a future session?

Wrap them up in cotton wool. In today’s session we will be using song and sensory play to explore our theme...Soft. So grab some cotton wool, a fluffy jumper or even a toilet roll(!) and join me live at 3pm for babies and 3:30pm for tots.

Today’s session explored bristles, brooms 🧹 and brushes. Stripping back on the sensory and exploring simple everyday objects allows your child’s brain to develop at a natural pace, encouraging imagination and learning through play.

There was an old woman tossed up in a blanket(?!) is today’s nursery rhyme.

My songs are mostly original but then you come across a mad nursery rhyme that doesn’t make any sense and it’s just rude not to bring it back to life a little!

Our theme today is anything with bristles- toothbrush, hairbrush, broom 🧹 ...anything!
