πΎ Introducing our newest (self-appointed) therapistβ¦ Scooby! π
It seems our long-term resident cat Scooby has discovered the peace and calm of our therapy room and quite frankly, he's made himself very much at home! ποΈβ¨
We're not entirely sure whether he now considers himself the official therapist on duty, but honestlyβ¦ we're not mad about it! ππ±
There's something pretty special about a purring cat to help melt the stress away. Maybe he was onto something all along! πΎπ
Welcome to the team, Scooby, we'll let you take it from here! π

π What an incredible end to the term! π
Our Open Day fundraiser for CAFT was an absolute success, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who took part! π±π°
Students and staff came together to showcase their creativity through some wonderful homemade baking and plant pot making and the results were absolutely brilliant!
Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we raised an amazing Β£175 for CAFT! π Every penny will make a real difference, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.
A huge highlight of the day was welcoming our lovely primary school visitors. It was so wonderful to see them enjoy their visit and get involved in the fun! π
A very special thank you to all the team, you were all absolutely amazing! π

π΄ππΎ Learning looks a little different here, and that's exactly the point.
We're an independent special educational needs school based on a working farm, and every single day looks something like this:
π A young person who struggled with anxiety walks calmly alongside a horse for the first time.
π° A pupil who found it hard to communicate gently holds a rabbit and says "hello" quietly, but clearly.
π± A student who'd never felt successful at school fills a feed bucket with pride and purpose.
Animals have an extraordinary ability to reach children that traditional classroom settings sometimes can't. Here on the farm, our pupils build confidence, develop communication skills, learn responsibility, and most importantly, begin to believe in themselves. π
We believe every child deserves an education that works for them. For our young people, that education often starts with four legs, a warm nose, and a bit of fresh farm air. π€οΈ
We'd love for more families, professionals, and communities to know we exist. If you know a young person who might thrive in an environment like ours β please share this post. It could make all the difference. π

π΄β¨ Throwback Monday β May 2015!
We came across this gem while looking through our old photos, does anyone recognise themselves? π
This was taken back in May 2015 when our Pony Club was in full swing, welcoming young riders aged 5 to 18!
So many incredible young people came through our gates over the years, and we'd love to know what you're all up to now. Whether you're still in the saddle, working with horses, or life has taken you in a completely different direction?
We want to hear from you! π
π¬ Drop a comment below and let us know:
π Who you are!
π What you're doing now
π What impact horses had on your life β€οΈ
Tag a friend who might be in the photo and help us track everyone down! πΈ

π PERFECT BEGINNERS HORSE- THE WONDERFUL ARCHIE π
Those of you who know Archie will know just how special he is. After an incredible 15 years in our riding school, teaching lots of beginners to ride we feel that at 21 years old, the time has come for this much-loved boy to enjoy the rest of his days in a well-deserved 5β one-to-one home.
Archie is an extremely safe, patient and genuine beginnerβs horse who has looked after countless riders over the years. Standing at approximately 14hh, he is a true traditional cob with a kind nature and a fantastic attitude to work.
He schools beautifully in our arenas and has also spent many happy years being used as a safe and sensible hacking horse. He is the type that is becoming increasingly difficult to find nowadays.
In the interest of complete honesty, Archie does not like other horses getting too close to him and may kick if they do, so this would need to be managed appropriately. Other than this, he really is a dream horse.
Taking into account his age, and in the late Β£3 # # #, Archie represents exceptional value for such a safe and experienced horse.
For further information, please contact Lisa Cottrill at [email protected]
Please share to help us find Archie the loving retirement-style home he truly deserves π΄π

Our students really enjoyed their βProject Designβ session with GMI Construction Group today!
We are incredibly proud of them as they demonstrated some excellent skills in project development, teamwork and creativity throughout the session.
Who knowsβ¦ we may even have discovered some property developers of the future! ποΈπ
A huge thank you to the team at GMI Construction for delivering such an engaging and inspiring experience for our students π
