The sunshine is definitely here and we're busy preparing for this year's Summer Concert. Save the date!

We’re absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news!

A huge congratulations to Siholm on being accepted into the Junior Royal Northern College of Music (JRNCM). He will continue studying with Greta, this time at the JRNCM, and will join his brother Silone, who was admitted last year.

We’re looking forward to many more years of wonderful music and to welcoming both Silone and Siholm as our guests for future studio concerts 🎶🎉🎹

What a year it has been for Sitara! 🎶🎹

She took part in her very first festival and made the transition from classical piano to pop/rock. One of our favourite things to hear is that the whole family is singing along while Sitara accompanies them on the piano.

All that enthusiasm and hard work were beautifully rewarded with a Merit in her very first Rockschool exam - Grade 4!

Huge congratulations to Debbie on achieving a Distinction in Grade 1 Theory! 🎉👏 Such a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reward for all the hard work! 🎶

Huge congratulations to Millie on their Grade 5 MTB exam Distinction. They received such a lovely feedback from the examiner, describing their playing as 'extraordinarily musical', a 'compelling performance throughout', and praising their 'well-characterised' pieces. We couldn’t agree more.

After 7 years with us, this marks the end of her lessons, which makes this moment even more meaningful. We’re so grateful to have been part of their journey, and we look forward to seeing them at future studio concerts, hearing both their cello and piano playing continue to move us 🎹✨✨

We’re so pleased to celebrate another fantastic achievement of one of our students, Silone, who earlier this year earned a Distinction in their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam. A few days ago he also won the Second Prize at the Alderley Edge competition, being praised for 'an impressive performance technically, and artistically, displaying spontaneity and clear individuality'. Well done, Silone! 🎉🎶🎹

We are so happy for Ella, who was awarded The First Prize and the Dennison Award for her Bartok and Haydn, First Prize for her Kabalevsky, along with Second Prize for her Beethoven performance at the Alderley Edge Festival this week. This incredible accomplishment reflects Ella's dedication, patience, and hard-work! Many, many congratulations, Ella! 🎶🎉☺️

Big, big congratulations to Ana on achieving a Distinction in her MTB Grade 4 Piano exam 🥳🎹🌟 The examiner praised her for 'bringing out so much expression', 'capturing the jazz mood', and having 'a very strong sense of pulse and rhythm'. As you can see, the Distinction was a very well-deserved result.

We’ll truly miss our time with Ana as she heads off to university, but we are forever grateful to have started a long-standing passion for piano and music in general.

We’re also congratulating her family on the arrival of beautiful twins, what an exciting new chapter 💛 We’re already looking forward to the day we welcome them for lessons, though in the meantime, they couldn’t ask for a better teacher than Ana.
And of course, we’ll be expecting the occasional video of the waltzes that Ana loves so much 🎶

A very well-deserved Grade 2 Distinction for Zhuo Yuan, who was praised for her vibrant dynamics, clear articulation, and beautifully conveyed musical character 🎶🎊🎉 She continues to grow more confident each year and brings so much joy and energy into her lessons!

Huge congratulations to Zhuo Yuan and Siholm, who performed in the EPTA Regional Finals today. This was the first competition either of them has entered and reaching the Regional Finals is a fantastic achievement. Well done to you both! 👏

It was a great opportunity to perform on a beautiful concert piano and to hear some excellent playing from many talented young musicians.
