👔 Get ready for ! You can purchase any new uniform or PE kit in school on Tuesday 11 August - our uniform providers Monkhouse will be in school from 2.30pm-6pm in the main hall.

New Year 7 can collect their free jumper - bring your code/PIN with you.

🎓 Our former pupils are the best example of just what makes Burnage so special. Our new network, Beyond Burnage, seeks to create a community of former Burnage pupils, with the aim of supporting the school and our current pupils.

Last week we held our Celebration of The Arts evening 🎭🎻 We were blown away by the talent our all of our pupils and feel extremely proud.
The performances showcased a wide range of talent, including pianists, singers, violinists, and original drama pieces written and performed by our students.
Well done to all our performers 👏

Resilience is 🔑!
Some of our Year 10 students took another trip to ElevatED last week. The trip focused on teamwork, leadership, communication and resilience. They had the chance to do some boxing, breath work and orienteering at Chorlton Water Park.
Our young people had a fantastic day and can’t wait to be back.

On Thursday 25th June 2026 at 5pm we will be hosting our first ever ‘Celebration of the Arts Evening’ here at Burnage Academy. An evening of music, art, poetry and drama.

Priority tickets are now available to buy for all of our performers’ parents and carers.
Tickets cost £1 and proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
Further tickets will go on general sale from Thursday 18th June for the wider Burnage community.

We can’t wait to welcome you all on the night and showcase the fantastic artistic talent here at Burnage Academy!
