Well done to Year 3 who have achieved 20 points on their Dream Team award chart. For our first reward the children chose to play board games and do some colouring. 🌟

A morning in Year 5! 🔴🔺🔹

We started off with translating shapes in maths, we worked hard to move shapes around squared paper, following specific instructions 🧮📏✏️📈

In English, we are working on a balanced argument about life in a workhouse during the Industrial Revolution! We focused on extending our sentences with conjunctions today. 📖

🎊KS2 SATs🎊

This morning marks the start of national KS2 SATs. There will be tests every morning for our Year 6 children. We are so proud of the way they have conducted themselves during the preparation process and how they have supported each other. A big thank-you goes to Miss. Cohen and Mrs. Hadfield for their hard work!

Did you know that if you have a child attending our school, you are automatically a member of our PTA?! 😁😁😁
We have a fantastic core of parents who work very hard to raise vital funds for our school. This helps us to carry out upgrades to the premises, buy new teaching resources and put on fun events like the Christmas and Summer fairs and discos! The whole school even went to a panto, thanks to the PTA! But they really need help. ⚽️Sporting Achievement!⚽️

Congratulations to Tadhg and Joshie, from Year 1, who both play football for the Prestwich Pythons. The Pythons took part in a tournament at the Ethihad stadium and won a huge trophy! Well done, boys! 👏👏👏

We have started our coordinates topic in maths. Today, we played a game of battleships to enhance our understanding of using coordinates📈

Year 5 had lots of fun destroying their partners ships 🛳️

Greek Day!

What a great day in year 3! We have been learning all about Ancient Greece, the children took part in making theatre masks, performing Greek Myths, olympics, alphabet hunt and of course dress in up like Ancient Greeks!
