Headteacher's Recognition Reward 🎉 Five high flyers were invited to this week's HRR but our highest achiever in Year 9 (and the school as a whole!) was busy sitting his English mock exam in the Sports Hall today instead. We'll catch up with him tomorrow 🧁
Lots of assessments, exams, mock exams, and tests in preparation for mock exams are taking place at the moment 🥵 - all in the name of helping our boys to be the best that they can be. But, on the other side of the hard work is the 'Our Community' Off-Timetable Day next Tuesday - Fun Run Day! - as well as our upcoming Sports Day, Activities Day and a little treat for our boys with Friday 3rd July being a staff training day - mark the date in your calendars if you haven't already.
Back to today's boys with their lovely tales around the table, a huge well done to you all. Keep being brilliant! 💙💛

Technology Technician We are seeking to recruit an organised, reliable and knowledgeable member to our team, in the role of a Technology Technician.

⛳ Our Year 8 boys have been flying the golf flag high representing West Hill School at two competitions.

🏌 Taking part in the Lancashire Schools' Golf Team Tournament before half term, our boys finished a fantastic 15th, 44th and 46th out of 102 players whilst, more recently, Monday saw an amazing 5th place out of 51 players at the Lancashire Schools' Golf Stableford Competition at Turton Golf Club 👏

Very well done to our participating students and to all schools and individuals who took part 💙💛

Headteacher's Recognition Reward 🎉 - Our boys were back in school today sharing their stories of a sunshine-filled half-term as they received their praise from Ms Cronin for gaining the highest number of achievement points in their year group in the week before the half term.
As well as day trips out and short breaks away, students have been busy revising for their assessments that have started this week for Years 7-9, and the upcoming mock exams for our Year 10s📝
With only six more weeks of HRR left before the summer, who will fill those final few places around Ms Cronin's table, and who will finish with the highest number of visits this year? Every student is still in with a chance! 💙💛
