Happy Monday! Arts Council England have just published the Creative Young Lives Survey. Based on responses from 30,000 children and their parents or guardians across England, the findings show how creativity helps young people learn new skills, build confidence and support their wellbeing.

Children are telling us that creativity matters. 🎨✨

Our new Creative Young Lives Survey found that most children see creativity as an important part of their lives and would like to do more creative and cultural activities.

Based on responses from 30,000 children and their parents or guardians across England, the survey explored the creative activities children take part in and the benefits they experience.

Being creative allows many children to learn new skills, build confidence and support their wellbeing. Whether it's making music, dancing, acting or singing, creativity is helping young people thrive.

The findings reinforce the importance of making excellent creative opportunities available to all children, whatever their background and no matter where in England they live.
