A tea party fit for a King!
We celebrated the Kings Coronation at pre school today. We talked about the new King, made crowns and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea 😀

We are so pleased to finally announce on 6th March 2023 we had our first inspection from ofsted and recieved a good in all areas feel free to take a look at the report online.

Look at the fantastic bonnets that were made by the children and their parents/carers for our Easter bonnet parade. So creative and some brilliant ideas!
We hope our children and families have a lovely half term and look forward to welcoming the children back on the 17th April.

The amazing work the children have done this term.
Hello Spring - we went for a walk to the park to look for signs of spring, talked about the different animals born in spring and created a lovely blossom tree.
Let's celebrate - we have been celebrating Easter and the children created their own Easter eggs.
Book of the term- Our book of the term has been The 3 Little Pigs. The children have really enjoyed this story and we have based lots our activities around the story. As well as the display we made our own little pigs out of playdough, built houses out of different materials to see which was strongest, used puppets to re-create the story and lots more!

Today we made Easter rice crispy cakes. The children really enjoyed this activity and helped to pour in the rice crispy's then mix them into the melted chocolate. We also added some colourful sprinkles!

What a busy, fun filled week!

The children enjoyed making fruit kebabs. They helped to cut up the fruit, used their fine motor skills to put the fruit on the skewers and then the best part - eating them! There was lots of conversation about the colours of the fruit, taste and smell.

Gentle reminder,
Stretch and grow is on Monday at 10am, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know the benefits of stretch and grow!
Stretch and grow is obviously amazing for our physical skills including moving and handling... But look at the other benefits!
Communication and language!
Look how tall we can grow! Look at how small we can go!
As well as communication this early maths language! Tall, small is language as size!
Personal,social, emotional development:making relationships
Look at your friend and discuss the moves you make!
This is making friendships with other peers!
What else you may ask!
Well this opportunity is endless! And gives our children the ability to explore the world around them! That links with understanding of the world too...
