We have Atelier’s in both our settings and professional artists who manage the spaces. We place such value in the importance of the environment as the third teacher and the incredible creatives who work with us. Art and education should always go hand in hand. Art is a key part of learning in early years and beyond.

A T E L I E R • 🎨 would this inspire your creativity? ✨

Let us show you how we nurture and celebrate early years artists with professional artist teachers (Atelierista’s) in our very own art studio (Atelier).

Creativity is fundamental in early learning and it is part of our holistic trilogy to nurture the ‘whole child’. Every aspect of our little one’s learning and self-expression is supported through our philosophy.

The Atelier is the most incredible, creative space where ideas can run wild and ‘the environment’ really is the third teacher. The work that’s created gets displayed throughout the nursery so children feel a sense of pride. Alex, our deputy is guiding us around the space in this reel look out for Part 2 where we explore ‘Awe and Wonder’.

Do you feel inspired by this space? Would you love to learn in a space like this? All our nurseries have areas where creativity is sacred and where children’s art is valued. It is fundamental in early years education that children can express themselves freely.

I N D E P E N D E N C E 💫

Empowering children helps to foster independence, which is an important life skill that needs to be nurtured early on.

One of the ways we do this here at nursery is around mealtimes. We involve children in the serving and clearing of meals, each day giving a different child a task. They enjoy taking ownership of their role and they feel valued. It also creates that sense of being a family and taking things in turns so it’s always balanced. You can see the joy in all of their faces.

What a HUGE success World Book Day was.

Across our settings the team and children all dressed up as their favourite characters and there were activities happening in all of the rooms.

We visited Statham Avenue New Care home owned by McGoff Group, who are our co-founders. 🌎♻️In the spirit of Back To the Garden, and sustainability, we want to do something to aid the slow approach and these special days can sometimes contribute to the fast fashion industry and be quite commercial. With that in mind, we are offering to take any costumes your children may have outgrown in order to repurpose them for future events, helping the planet and pockets. We will always welcome homemade and shop bought but we thought it would be fun to bring a rail out each year with preloved costumes.
