After the heartbreaking death of 5-year-old Benedict Blythe, new rules are being introduced in schools across England to protect children with severe allergies.

From September 2026, schools will be REQUIRED to:
⚠️ Train ALL staff to recognise and respond to anaphylaxis
⚠️ Keep emergency EpiPens (adrenaline auto-injectors) on site
⚠️ Have clear allergy safety policies in place
⚠️ Create individual care plans for children with allergies

This is about making sure no child is left unprotected in a life-or-death situation.
