At Write in the Loop, we are passionate about creating equal opportunities in business and providing accessible career education and advice to all.

As a female-founded and owned organisation, we feel proud that over the past year:

💜 Our free Write in the Loop Writing Club (that gives individuals the opportunity to publish their scientific writing and receive tailored feedback) is accessible to all and currently made up of >130 members - https://www.writeintheloop.com/writing-club.

💜 We shared 10 amazing career and health stories from inspiring women such as this one by Issy - https://www.writeintheloop.com/post/from-medical-neuroscience-to-medical-writing.

💜 We educated women on cervical cancer and the importance of cervical screenings thanks to Grace’s informative and engaging video.

💜 We ran 2 ‘Introduction to MedComms’ sessions for the University of Leeds and attended the Faculty of Biological Sciences ‘Careers and Employability’ event providing students with free MedComms & non-lab-based career advice, and support, thanks to our connection with Alison.

💜 We attended the Network Pharma ‘Working In and Around MedComms’ conference, connecting with inspiring women in MedComms including Virginia, Eleanor, Harriet, Esther, Sarah, Vicky, & Katia!

💜 We empowered up-and-coming female talent to join Write in the Loop, develop key skills, and gain invaluable experience - Anisha (Content Manager), Olivia (Content Editor), Olivia (Associate Content Manager), and Zoe (Associate Content Editor). All have made a huge impact and we are so grateful!

Anisha became Content Manager after expressing her interest in supporting with Write in the Loop in a variety of ways, with an aim to develop her skills so she can pursue a career in Account Management/Client Services in the future!

Anisha:

🔎 Researches content for the monthly newsletter

Meet Grace, our Founder and CEO! 💜

Grace:
👩🏼‍💼 Manages the WITL Team and website (https://www.writeintheloop.com/)
🎤 Attends exciting MedComms events to connect with those looking to get into MedComms, sharing how WITL can help.
💬 Collaborates with other individuals and businesses in MedComms to share her story and offer knowledge, guidance, and support.
📰 Writes and puts together WITL’s monthly newsletter.
📱 Creates social media content (including graphics, videos, and written content) to support individuals looking to get into MedComms, sharing insights into her role as a Medical Content Writer, and tips on how to break into the industry!

Grace started a YouTube channel, website, and social media in 2020 teaching GCSE and A-Level biology in an engaging way, and she then launched a second platform, Career Ju**ie, supporting students with employability and careers. Since then, Grace has gained a lot of experience, learnt more about business and marketing, and the platform has evolved to become Write in the Loop!
