But I never felt I would be able to feel fully in control of my life.⁣

I had spent so long trapped with traumatised feelings from childhood and hiding so much of my self away that it felt impossible to be embodied in my authority.⁣
⁣
I was constantly people pleasing.⁣
Constantly manipulating my way out people pleasing.⁣
Constantly a victim to my people pleasing.⁣
⁣
Like a child wanting to please their parents.⁣
Like a puppy submitting to their owner.⁣
⁣
I never felt like I could be the one in charge of my life.⁣
⁣
UNTIL…⁣
⁣
I went deep into my Puss.y Magic.⁣
Deep into my self-restoring through access to my cycle.⁣
⁣
Because that’s what this work is.⁣
⁣
A restoration of self.⁣
⁣
It is not an invitation to become whole or healed.⁣
⁣
It is an invitation of remembering your innate power, your innate divinity.⁣
⁣
And then doing the often disgustingly uncomfortable work of restoring yourself to this place.⁣

It is everything and nothing because that’s exactly what your cycle teaches you.⁣

I knew both of the people who sexually assaulted me, when I was a child and an adult.⁣

F**K OFF and leave us alone and go after the people who are ACTUALLY the perpetrators of these crimes. ⁣

The reason I kept my mouth shut for so many years was because I was not believed when I shared my experience and told I shouldn’t have been drunk and shouldn’t have fallen asleep in someone’s bed.⁣

It is not a gift to you.⁣

It is not something you can take when you feel like.⁣
⁣
And is certainly not something you can have just because you had it once before.⁣

I knew for so many years I had issues with my root chakra.⁣
⁣
I did all the yoga poses, journaled, did meditations, chanting, mindfulness. I carried crystals, I ate the right foods.⁣
⁣
But nothing worked.⁣
⁣
Nothing until I faced my trauma and my se.xual shame.⁣
Faced my sexual assaults.⁣
Healed the cause of my distrust within myself.⁣
⁣
And then it all changed ⚡️⁣
⁣
All of a sudden I was clear.⁣
I was energised.⁣
⁣
I was f*cking FREE 💫⁣
⁣
My Shakti feminine energy was turned on.⁣
⁣
And that is when EVERYTHING started to change.⁣
⁣
But I wasn’t able to get there alone. ⁣
And girl did I try.⁣
⁣
You see shame doesn’t like to be seen 🙅🏼‍♀️⁣
⁣
But when you allow another Sister to hold you, and you allow the Sisterhood to see you... shame cannot live.⁣
