Day one… official day one of exams is DONE ✔️

We’ve had some lovely feedback from our children today and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

It’s okay to reflect on your exam, but please don’t put too much pressure on yourselves afterwards wondering if you should have added something different or changed an answer. We cannot go back in time — we can only move forward.

What matters most is that you walked in there, faced it, and tried your absolute best… and that is more than good enough for us ❤️

One exam down, more boxes ticked, and we’ll keep getting through this together — one step at a time.

Be proud of yourselves tonight. Rest, reset and go again tomorrow.

Dear Mellor’s Mind Craft kiddos,

As exams begin tomorrow, remember this:

Your grades do not define you.

A test score could never measure your kindness, your personality, your strength, your progress or the challenges you’ve overcome to get here. What matters most is that you tried, believed in yourselves and kept going even when things felt difficult.

We truly believe every child will succeed in their own way, and we are already proud of each and every one of you.

Now it’s time to take a deep breath, stay calm and go show everybody what you can do. Trust yourselves, take your time and simply do your best — because your best is always enough.

Well done to all who attended the free boosters this weekend. 💜💙

Hey everyone,

Our GCSE students have now officially been given their leaving dates with us… and honestly, I don’t quite have the words 🥹

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Watching their journeys, their growth in confidence, their resilience, and the way they’ve pushed through challenges has been nothing short of amazing. They’ve been such a huge part of our Mellor’s Mind Craft family, and they will be truly missed.

This year feels even more emotional for me, as my own daughter is part of this cohort. I truly don’t quite have the words… other than to say, I see you, I feel you. Every emotion, every worry, every proud moment—I’m right there with you all 💛

It’s always a bittersweet moment—seeing them move on to their next chapter—but we know they are leaving stronger, more confident, and ready for what’s ahead. We couldn’t be prouder.

As one chapter closes, another opens…

Our waiting lists are now officially OPEN for GCSE English, Maths, and Science. These spaces fill very quickly every year, so if you are looking to secure support for your child, please don’t delay.

Hi to all of our Mellor’s Mind Craft family 💖

I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a gentle and meaningful Mother’s Day. Days like today can bring a real mix of emotions for many people. For some it’s a day of celebration, for others it can feel a little more complicated or reflective. However today looks for you, I truly hope you’ve been able to spend it in a way that feels right for you.

Motherhood comes in so many different forms — mums, step-mums, grandmas, foster mums, carers and all the incredible women who nurture and support the young people in our lives. Today is a reminder of how much love, strength and patience you all give every single day.

For me personally, today always brings mixed emotions, with my mum being in heaven, days like today remind me just how much she is loved and missed. At the same time, I feel incredibly thankful to be a mum myself — something I never take for granted. It’s a privilege that means the world to me.

I also want to say thank you for trusting me with your children. Being trusted to support, guide and care for them is a privilege I never take for granted. Every child who walks through the doors of Mellor’s Mind Craft becomes part of our extended family, and it means so much to me to be part of their journey.

Sending lots of love to all of our wonderful Mellor’s Mind Craft families today. However you’ve spent the day, I hope there have been moments of warmth, love and appreciation.

Please remember:

💖A school allocation does not define your child’s worth or future.
💙If you’ve got the place you hoped for — celebrate it. They’ve worked so hard.
💖If you haven’t — take a breath. There are waiting lists, appeals, and options. This is not the end of the road.

At Mellor’s Mind Craft, we’ve supported families through every possible outcome, and there is always a way forward that protects your child’s wellbeing first.
