🇬🇧✨ St George’s Day Celebrations Nursery ✨🇬🇧

Our nursery came together for a wonderful traditional afternoon, filled with fun and laughter. Our pre-school children made the most of the beautiful weather, enjoying the festivities out in the garden 🌞

Meanwhile, our Tweenies got creative with some fantastic England flag painting, showing off their artistic skills! 🎨

To top it all off, the children had a traditional afternoon tea!

Well done to all our children for taking part and making it such a joyful celebration! 🇬🇧❤️

🌸🌼 Spring has sprung at Swans Care and Education! 🌼🌸

Last week the children and staff kicked off the spring season with a whole host of activities and crafts. The children have been busy exploring, creating, and learning every step of the way!

Our little explorers enjoyed a lovely trip to the park, where they collected blossom and petals, sparking lots of curiosity about the changing season 🌿✨

Back at nursery, the children used their treasures and creativity to design wonderful spring activity boards, full of bright colours and imaginative ideas

We’ve also been learning all about life cycles, with a special focus on caterpillars 🐛 The children had so much fun creating their very own caterpillars, bringing their learning to life through art and play.

In Tweenies & pre-school we have real life caterpillars to experience the life cycle in real time!

It’s been a joyful and busy start to the season, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of spring brings! 🌷

What a great time we’ve had celebrating Easter at the nursery! 💛

The children have had so much fun taking part in a range of exciting Easter activities. From getting creative with crafts to proudly showing off their fantastic entries in our Easter Bonnet Competition 🎩🐰 – I’m sure you will all agree they did amazing! Well done to all of our little creators!

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to our lovely parents for the thoughtful Easter gifts and treats for our staff. 💐

To top it all off, our team enjoyed some delicious Easter goodies in the staff room – a well-deserved treat for all the hard work and dedication our amazing staff show every day 🍫🐣

✨ A wonderful few weeks at Swans Care and Education ✨

We’ve had such a busy and heartwarming couple of weeks here at nursery, and we wanted to share just a little glimpse of what we’ve been up to 💛

Our children have been taking part in the Healthy Body, Healthy Me initiative, learning all about the importance of staying active, eating well, and looking after their bodies and minds. From exploring nutritious foods to understanding the importance of sleep, movement, and even oral health, the children have been building strong foundations for happy, healthy lives 🥦🏃‍♀️🦷

Alongside this, we recently celebrated Employee Appreciation Day – and what a special moment it was! Parents and guardians were invited to share their thoughts and feedback about our amazing nursery team. The kind words shared truly meant the world to us, and we are so grateful 💕

✨ This Week at Swans Care and Education ✨

What a wonderful week we’ve had so far!💛

🌙 Our lovely Sana celebrated Eid with our pre-school children, sharing delicious food and beautiful traditions. The children enjoyed exploring the celebration and even had intricate henna designs painted on their hands!

🧦 We also proudly took part in World Down Syndrome Day. Our children and staff embraced the day by wearing bright, mismatched socks to celebrate uniqueness and inclusion. Together, we also planted sunflower seeds 🌻 as a symbol of growth, diversity, and positivity.

👏 Training in Progress! 👶📚

We’re proud to share that two of our team members took part in Tier 2 Baby Room Practitioner Training last week. This specialist training helps strengthen their knowledge, skills, and confidence in supporting our youngest children during those important early stages of development.

Investing in our staff means we continue to provide the highest quality care, learning, and nurturing environment for all of our children. 🌟

Well done to both of you for your commitment to professional growth — we’re proud of you! 💙

🌙✨ Eid Mubarak from everyone at Swans Care and Education! ✨🌙

Our children had a fantastic time celebrating with a special Indian banquet, enjoying a variety of delicious dishes and exploring new tastes together. From colourful plates to beautifully prepared food, it was a wonderful hands-on way to learn about the celebration of Eid. 🍛🎉

Celebrating different cultures and traditions is so important for the children at the nursery. Experiences like these help our children build understanding, respect, and appreciation for the diverse world around them. 💛
