I’m offering group tuition, small groups (max 6) aimed at either pushing the grade 4-5 boundary, or pushing above grades 6+ for science mastery.

Hi everyone! I’m actually terrible at getting content on here 👀

As we close for another school year this week, what would you like to see content wise to help students focus and help them get through their exams?

Whether it’s the start of their 2 year GCSE course in Y10, their fast and furious mock schedule in Y11, or instilling a love of science in years 7-9, let me know so I can make it happen.

Will be getting some recorded lessons and tips sorted asap and uploaded so give me some ideas for content that will work for you and yours ❤️

Just a little reminder about the small group tutoring I’m offering at the moment - I have weekend slots available, as well as holiday booster sessions running throughout the holidays from now until Summer, for Y11 students revising for GCSEs, anf Y10 students preparing for their end of year exam!

I also tutor KS3 students wanting to get ahead!

Let me know if your child has friends or siblings that would like to be added to the small groups list, the rates are discounted with each additional child! These booster sessions over Easter will start at 1 hour of each science, and can be booked for up to 2 hours of each science.. WhatsApp or DM me for details!!

Happy new year everyone! Hope everyone’s Christmas break was wonderful, and that the snow/slush hasn’t caused too many issues for anyone!

Just a reminder I’m a very experienced science tutor, working online for all year groups 7-11, all abilities and all 3 sciences. I have references and DBS check, I work full time in a secondary school rated Good this year, and lots of experience with additional needs and rapid improvement.

January’s offer is small group tutoring for £20ph per student - only weekend sessions available, applicable for groups of 3+ and would need to be the same year group and end exam board..

If you’re wanting to get a head start for your child for their GCSEs, if they need support consolidating their learning from Y7-Y9 in preparation, or if there is something specific they’re studying for, I have limited space for small group tuition - reduced hourly rate, online tuition, working with other students of the same age- this can be beneficial to any students who are typically a little more reserved and help them interact with other students!

The GCSE season is rapidly approaching, the Science GCSE is 2 grades - is your child in need of some extra support? I have a couple of slots free for weekly tuition at the moment - the extra 121 help could be the difference in getting a 4 or a 5, the golden grade, or between a 5 and a 6 so they can go on to do an A level in science… get in touch for more info!

Whether your young people are just finishing mocks (like my school) or still waiting to start them, revision needs doing right to be effective.

Taking breaks, chunking, retrieval (seeing what you can remember) and spacing it out are all good strategies…

Reading and highlighting notes give the illusion of success, but don’t help long term changes in memory…

Remember the tips on these infographics too.. revision should be visible, as in, as a parent, good revision is revision you can see happening on paper or online via quizzes..

Always ready to help - got a couple of spaces for regular tuition but they’re filling up quickly so don’t miss out! The best time for action is now!
