Wow, what an amazing week we are having in Nursery! As you may have seen, we are busy exploring the magical season of Autumn. We have had a brilliant time learning though play and hands-on exploration, including a walk to our school field to spot the signs of autumn. We’ve created some beautiful pieces of art and applied new vocabulary to describe this beautiful season!🍁🍂✨

The day when our MPPs met our MP Connor Rand. It was an absolute privilege to tour our school with our MP today; showcasing our exceptional school environment, history and, most importantly, our exceptional children. Our MPPs were a credit to the school too... asking some amazing questions including if Mr Rand had any plans to, one day, become Prime Minster. We are looking forward to visiting Mr Rand in Westminster in March too. What an exciting day!

This week we have been enjoying learning about how we grow from being a baby into an adult eventually. We have talked about what a baby needs and have had two new additions to our classroom, babies Jack and Ava, who the children have helped to look after. Our story this week is 'The Toys Party' and today we made the cake from the story which included jam, cornflakes, sugar and milk! Don't worry - the children didn't eat any! We are however looking forward to making and eating chocolate cornflake cakes on Friday during our Teddy bears party!
