Summer School – Last day to sign up

There is an exciting opportunity for your child to meet members of the school team and their peers at our free Summer School 2021.
This week will give our year 7 students the chance to meet each other; as well as take part in a number of fun activities.
As much as we can, we will be trying to group pupils in their Form Tutor groups for next year. This way they will be able to start to form new friendships with their peers too.

The summer school will take place on 9th August 2021 – 13th August 2021 for 5 days; from 10am until 2pm.
Students will take part in a variety of taster subject sessions, followed by exciting and fun afternoon sessions, ranging from Manchester United Foundation coaching to Safari Phil.

We recommend your child wear comfortable clothing and footwear each day to enable them to participate in the activities. Lunch will also be provided at no charge.

Welcome to our dedicated transition page for 2021! This week you should receive a welcome pack with key information about your child's transition. We have sent this by email (if we have access to your email address) and by post to the address on your child's application form. We would appreciate if you could read through this pack of information, complete any relevant forms and send these back to us by email ([email protected]), post to school, or drop off at our Reception. If you have not received your pack through email or post by Monday 14th June please email [email protected] stating your child's name and the best contact number, email address and home address for us to reach you. We would like to welcome all of the students who will be joining us next year as new year 7s.
Soon you will receive a pack from us giving you more information about your next steps, including your forthcoming visit in person to our school for your Transition Day on July 6th. We cannot wait to see you in person!

Following on from the news on Tuesday, all students will be required to wear a mask in communal areas in school from September. These should be plain and a dark colour e.g. Black or Navy.
