Fantastic Didsbury Opportunity
We hope you are enjoying using The Didsbury App, helping everyone to shop local and find local businesses at their fingertips. We packed the app with hundreds of local businesses details plus all sorts of extra information - parks, community services, schools. Everything Didsbury.
However, due to the changing personal circumstances of a couple of our team members, we now reluctantly realise that we can’t take the app any further. Designed to enrich Didsbury life and make it easier for Didsbury residents and visitors, the app needs passionate Didsbury people to run it, update it and develop it further - which is something we sadly can no longer do.
So we are looking for someone to take it on and build on the dream we started. There’s huge potential to develop the app further: expanding the events calendar, creating a local jobs section or simply building on the already comprehensive business listings. There are also options to monetise the app through advertising revenue. All things we had planned and believe that the app can do brilliantly to support Didsbury life.
We also have established Facebook and Instagram channels which are included, along with a website that can be transferred over.
You might be a business looking to reach more people in Didsbury, or a community group wanting to build on the network of information the app offers. We are asking for a fee to cover our initial investment, and there is then an ongoing annual license fee for the software. However it’s more about finding someone who can take the app forward and continue with what we believe is a brilliant information source for the whole of Didsbury.

Just been in to kjole boutique on Albert Hill Street. Needless to say we didn't leave empty handed. Some gorgeous things in there! Good luck to Louise and Rachel (Louise pictured here) who opened this welcome addition to the Didsbury boutique scene only a few weeks ago.
