In year 4 we have made pumpkins out a clay as part of our unit on the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Here are some photos of the children working hard on getting the right shape and the details of the segments. They did an amazing job.......finished pictures to come shortly!

In science lessons year 4 worked in pairs to sort pictures into carnivores, herbivores and omnivores as part of their unit on 'Food and digestion'

Year 4 have been studying the artist Yayoi Kasuma from Japan who uses dots to decorate her work. Yayoi prefers to draw and paint objects related to nature. Here are some of the fabulous collages that year 4 created...

Year 4 have been working really hard on their gymnastic skills and their team work skills. As you can see they created some amazing balances. Good job year 4!

Wow! What a busy few weeks we have had! Reception went on their class trip to RHS Garden Bridgewater RHS Bridgewater last week where they continued to learn about plants, flowers and bodies of water. The teachers had several comments on how well the children were behaving. They should be very proud of themselves!
