Thank you to our colleagues from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) who visited us at The University of Salford's THINKlab.
We had a very engaging few days. Their visit gave us the opportunity to clarify our achievements, discuss long-term collaboration, assess Malaysia's risk conditions and governance, and accelerate learning via the MOBILISE digital platform.
As well as presentations and discussions, we are thankful to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Resilience Unit for helping to arrange several site visits. These provided opportunities to understand the city's Resilience Strategy and how this works across the borough.
Special thanks go to Salford City Council and their Civic Centre Control Room, Bury Training and Safety Centre, and the GrowGreen project in West Gorton Community Park.
