Amazing attendance today. Well done to everyone getting to school and battling the snow!

E-Scooters
We are aware that a small number of pupils own an electric scooter and have been using these to get to and from school.
Following advice from Greater Manchester Police (see link below) and to ensure the safety of our students, electric scooters are not permitted on school grounds, with immediate effect. As always, pupils are very welcome to travel to and from school by bike or kick scooter.
https://www.gmp.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/rs/road-safety/advice-escooters/
This only impacts very few pupils currently, however, as e-scooters become more popular, we wanted to ensure that parents, carers and pupils are very clear around our position on this as a school.
Advice on e-scooter usage Read our advice on the safe and legal use of e-scooters, including information on enforcement measures.
Thank You!
Thank you for supporting our Christmas events so well this year and for the many gifts and cards sent into school, which are really appreciated by all the staff.

Welcome back and Happy New Year!
We hope you all had a great time with your children during the break and look forward to seeing them grow during 2023!

Every year, Year 6's are always extremely excited to run their own Christmas Market. We are delighted to announce that this will take place on Friday 9th December 2022. The market will be open to Nursery and Years 1-5. Children can bring in money to buy from stalls and to get tickets for the chocolate tombola. All money raised will be used to buy resources for the children.

On Thursday 8th December 2022 we’re inviting all pupils to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. The whole school will be taking part and going full-on festive in our Tinsel Knits and Jolly Jingle Jumpers for the day.
We’re asking pupils to make a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help save children’s lives around the world.
The money they raise will go to Save the Children, making sure every child, no matter where they’re born, has essentials like food and water, healthcare, education, protection and shelter.
All your child needs to do is wear a festive jumper and donate £1 payable via Parentpay. There’s no need to splash out on snazzy new sweaters to join in the fun you could borrow or bling up an old jumper with a few decorations.
If you’d like to find out more about Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, go to christmasjumperday.org.
We’d really appreciate your support to make Christmas Jumper Day a success – it’s a great cause, so together, we can make the world better in our sweaters!

Christmas Dinner will be on Thursday 8th December. Vegetarian and halal options are available.
