Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer because it can spread quickly. It can occur in both younger and older people. Symptoms of melanoma include a mole that changes in size, shape, or color, or a mole that develops new symptoms like pain, itching, or bleeding. If you suspect you have melanoma, itβs important to see a dermatologist right away for a diagnosis and treatment plan. Treatment for melanoma may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.

Ever wake up gasping for air or feeling super tired even after a full night's sleep? This could be a sign of sleep apnea! It happens when your airway gets blocked during sleep, interrupting your breathing and messing up your sleep quality.
What you can do:
Lifestyle tweaks: Ditch the ci******es , lay off the nightcaps , and maybe even shed a few pounds (if your doctor recommends it!).
οΈ Positional therapy: Sleeping on your side instead of your back can make a big difference οΈβ‘οΈ
CPAP machine: This nifty device uses a mask to keep your airway open while you sleep (think Darth Vader, but for better breathing!) β
Oral appliance: This mouthpiece helps hold your airway open
Surgery: In severe cases, surgery might be an option to open up your airway βοΈ

Osteosarcoma
What it is: Osteosarcoma is the most common type of bone cancer, primarily affecting children and young adults under 20. oncology
Symptoms: Keep an eye out for persistent bone pain (especially at night) , swelling or redness around a bone , a noticeable lump , unexplained bone fractures β, and difficulty moving.
Location: Osteosarcoma can develop in any bone, but it usually targets the long bones in the arms and legs, particularly around the knee and shoulder joints.
Treatment:There have been advancements in treatment! Doctors may recommend surgery βοΈ, chemotherapy , and for some young patients, mifamurtide (a medication to boost the immune system's attack on cancer cells οΈ).
